We interview Bishop Sam Kumar, called the John the Baptist of India by Charisma Magazine, and the leader of the Revival Center of India. Bishop Kumar is a revival scholar, who regularly travels the world to ignite and study revival. He studied missions at Elim Institute in New York and holds two degrees from Regent University.

What are the Flames of Revival and how can believers walk in it?

1. Flames of Revival will accelerate around the world like wildfire. Think of how bushfires quickly increase and spread; in the same way, revival will spread around the world.

2. Every believer can receive the flames of revival by receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:11  but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: This gift of the Holy Spirit is for every believer with the evidence of speaking in tongues

Share with us what you mean by when a person is used by God they become a nobody?

1. The example of William Seymour, the son of a slave who was used by God to usher in the Pentecostal movement. Today the Pentecostal movement is the fastest growing religious movement in recent church history. William Seymour would hide behind the pulpit not wanting to be seen.

2. God is going to use people who are nameless and fame-less.

3. Lucy Farrow was the daughter of slaves. She was the first to speak in tongues in the beginning of the Pentecostal movement. As led by the Holy Spirit, any person that she laid hands on would be healed. However, she did not want to be known for this gift.

How can parents and leaders stir revival in their home today?

1. Dedicate your children to the Lord. Bishop Kumar’s father dedicated him and his brothers to the Lord to be used to reach the continents of the earth.

2. Spend time in devotion in the home with prayer and Bible study.
