Church Planting Revolutionaries

Over the past year, we saw the greatest suppression of church gatherings and activities in modern human history, with mandates worldwide banning and restricting church services. We also saw the foremost acts of submission by the church, with pastors and leaders worldwide agreeing to and even going beyond the mandates of local governments to close the church.

Many churches have now been closed or severely limited in operation for over a year. Many have cited internet church services as a method of continuing church services. However, depending on having online services fail to see that online activities are increasingly becoming a trap for those who have moral Christian views.

Now, we need nothing short of Revival, and we need men that will revolt against the system that seeks to keep us suppressed. We need revolutionaries. Not those who will take up physical weapons; but rather, those who will push the kingdom forward with spiritual force.

Now, we need more churches, not less to shine the light in this dark world. Therefore, we call upon believers around the world to arise in a church planting revolution and plant churches wherever God may lead you.

Church Openers

Any believer can open a church as led by the Holy Spirit. It may be as simple as believers gathering souls together. The person that makes the step to open the church, may not be the person to pastor the church. Rather, this is just the person who sets the groundwork for a church to begin.

  • Can be a Brother or Sister

  • Can be a family

Acts 11:19-21Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only. 20And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus. 21And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

  • Can be an deacon, evangelist, etc.

  • Traditionally a minister

Shepherds

May or may not be the same as the man for opening the church. Not every opener should stay long term to shepherd a church. However, the opener may also be raised up by God to pastor the church. There are many believers sitting in the pew that God wants to use as a pastor.

Otherwise, the openers may be needed for other places. Some openers are not gifted to be shepherds. Some shepherds are not gifted openers. Whether the opener or someone else, a shepherd will be needed once the church begins.

Missionary Pastoring - the brother, deacon, or evangelist leads a church for a short period to fill the gap.

Main Shepherd - a pastor remains for a longer period

Acts 18:8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

The main shepherd remains with a church for a long period to nurture the spiritual growth and development of the people.

Acts 18:10-11 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city. 11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

Missionaries

  1. Permanent Missionaries - sent to an area with a new church to remain long-term and fill any areas of need at the church.

  2. Temporary Missionaries - sent to a new church plant for a temporary period, such as 6 months, one year, etc.

  3. Short-Term missionaries - sent to assist a new church plant for a short period such as two weeks to a month.

  4. Rolling Missionaries - sent to assist a new church plant as long as the person’s circumstances allow such in the case of someone who has a virtual job that allows them to travel, or a business or trade that allows for travel to different areas. The rolling missionary stays for a flexible, adjustable time period based on need or circumstance.

  5. Mobile Missionaries - missionaries that regularly travel to different places to assist new churches.

Funders

  1. Give land or property for the establishment of a new church.

  2. Give Enormous Donations for the development of new churches.

We need church planting revolutionaries to rise up and open churches around the world. When the devil is trying to shut down the church through governmental mandates, false doctrine, and persecution, we must revolt with spiritual force and plant more churches for God’s glory. Will you be an opener, a shepherd, a missionary, or a funder? Listen to the Lord and let Him lead you.
